SatellaWalker (「サテラウォーカー」) (also known by its shorthand, SW) is a Downloadable 2-part Soundlink game for the Satellaview that was broadcast between June 29, 1997 and January 2, 1998. The game's January broadcast was the result of having been the first winner of the third Player's Choice vote. SatellaWalker was followed by a sequel, SatellaWalker 2 (「サテラウォーカー２」) in February 1998.
SatellaWalker is a pseudo-RPG adventure game that takes place in the world of the BS-X BIOS. The player's avatar character (the same one from BS-X) walks around the Town Whose Name has been Stolen accomplishing various activities and collecting various items. The game makes reference and contains cameos for many of Nintendo's most popular franchises and several of the Satellaview's most popular titles. For example, in-game items can be obtained that are references to such titles as the BS Zelda games, Bombliss, BS Monopoly, Naxat, the BS Marvelous series, BS Dragon Warrior, BS Super Mario USA Power Challenge, BS Shiren, Oozumou, BS Spriggan Powered, BS Harvest Moon, BS SimCity, Zenkoku Baken Ouja Ketteisen, BS Shin Onigashima, Sound Journal, Satella-Q, the BS F-ZERO series, the BS Nichibutsu Mahjong series, B Tan, BS Ihatovo Monogatari, Excitebike BunBun Mario Battle Stadium, Itoi Shigesato no Bass Tsuri No. 1, R no Shosai, and StarPirates.
